Apollomedics Superspecialty Hospital Provides Life-Saving CPR Training to Lucknow Traffic Police Personnel

Apollomedics Superspecialty Hospital conducted a CPR workshop for over 100 personnel of the Lucknow Traffic Police at its hospital premises. This workshop was organized under the hospital's initiative, "Sanjeevani." The objective of this initiative is to equip police personnel with life-saving skills to rescue victims in road accidents or other emergency situations. Present at the occasion were senior officials from the Lucknow Traffic Police, including Shri Kamlesh Kumar Dixit, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, and Shri Ajay Kumar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police. Shri Indrapal Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic; Shri Shivaji Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic; Shri Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic; and Shri J.N. Asthana, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Traffic.

During the workshop, doctors from Apollo Medics Super Specialty Hospital taught the participants the basics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), which includes chest compressions and rescue breaths. CPR is a life-saving technique used to save a person's life when their heart stops beating. The traffic police officers participating in the workshop expressed enthusiasm about the techniques they learned.

Dr. Mayank Somani, CEO and MD of Apollomedics Hospital, said, "Providing immediate CPR during road accidents and emergencies can save lives. CPR is a simple technique that anyone can learn. It is crucial to know how to use it in emergency situations." He also emphasized that traffic police officers are often the first responders to medical emergencies, so it is important for them to receive CPR training. Under Apollo Medics' social initiative "Sanjeevani,"  the hospital is committed to teaching CPR to every member of society to make them life-savers. We continuously organize such events and will conduct similar workshops for other segments of society in the future.

A senior officer of the Lucknow Traffic Police expressed gratitude, saying, "We are thankful to Apollomedics Superspecialty Hospital for organizing this CPR workshop. This training is very important for our officers. Now we will be better equipped to assist victims during road accidents and medical emergencies."
