Bharti Foundation along with DIET, Dumka, Jharkhand organised Teaching Learning Material (TLM) Mela
- The Foundation provided training to teachers from 35 partner government schools under Quality Support Program (QSP) this academic year on enriching the learning environment through innovative TLMs.
- 110 teachers from 80 partner and non-partner government schools from ten blocks of Dumka district participated in the recently organized district level TLM Mela held
- 12 teachers were presented with Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards under different categories for building the best TLMs.
Jharkhand: Bharti Foundation’s Quality Support Program (QSP) aims on providing holistic development to the students through various interventions. One of the areas that QSP focuses on is building an enriching learning environment for students in the government schools. It has trained teachers from 35 partner government schools in Dumka on enriching the learning environment through innovative teaching-learning materials. The training was well received by the teachers and it was exciting to witness 110 teachers from 10 blocks of Dumka participate in the district level TLM Mela, organised by Bharti Foundation in collaboration with DIET, Dumka on 28th November 2023.
TLM Mela served as a platform for the teachers to think out of the box and use their skills in building refreshing teaching aids. The event was graced by Kumar Harsh, SDEO; Anurag Minz, Area Officer-Education; Ajay Kumar Gupta, Jharkhand Academic Council Member; Priyankar Pramesh, Faculty Member, DIET; Dr. Kishor Kumar, DIET. 12 teachers were felicitated with Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards for designing best TLMs. TLMs are an outcome of the learnings that the teachers have from their day-to-day classroom experiences. With simple innovative solutions, these TLMs can be made refreshing, thereby making the learning easier and joyful for the students.
