Fortis Greater Noida organizes free cancer screening camp on World Cancer Day

Greater Noida: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, 4th February 2024, a free cancer screening camp was organized at Fortis Hospital Greater Noida on Sunday, in which about 80 people got themselves examined and also availed the benefit of free consultation from oncologist and gynecologist.

On this occasion, Dr. Sarika Bansal, Consultant, Medical Oncology at Fortis Hospital Greater Noida, said, "Today on the occasion of World Cancer Day, this camp has been organized with the aim of making people aware about this disease and keeping people conscious about their health. Diseases like cancer can be defeated by timely testing and proper treatment. There is a need to be alert, we will continue to make such efforts in the public interest in the future also."

Apart from this, many people also availed the concessional package for cancer screening in the camp which included USG-Ultrasound of Abdomen/KUB, CBC, PSA and Oncologist consultation for men and USG-Ultrasound of Abdomen for women.  , CBC, CA-125, breast examination and ultrasound, consultation with oncologist and gynecologist.
