According to Mr. Sanjeev Sarin, Senior Centre Director, Phoenix Mills Ltd., said that, “the Women's Premier League (WPL) concept was conceived four years ago on International Women’s Day to pay tribute to the contribution of women in sports. Through dedication and teamwork, the initiative has flourished, attracting participation from 27 schools and universities. The WPL has not only become a prominent platform for women's sports but also sets an inspiring example of encouraging women to pursue their passion for sports.”
More than just a tournament, this event serves as an incredible platform to nurture women’s cricketing skills and foster the spirit of sportsmanship.
