The comprehensive training course organised by Shanya Scans in partnership with Samsung, has featured state-of-the-art on-site simulator-based 2D ultrasound sessions, elevating the learning experience for medical professionals.
This groundbreaking workshop provides an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to delve into the intricacies of Gynecological and Early Pregnancy ultrasound examinations. Through a partnership with Samsung, renowned for its cutting-edge technology, participants gained hands-on experience with advanced ultrasound equipment and simulators, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of imaging techniques and diagnostic procedures.
Key Highlights of the Workshop Included Simulation-Based Learning. Attendees were engaged in practical, hands-on sessions using state-of-the-art simulators, replicating real-world scenarios for comprehensive skill development.
The training was Led by Dr.Supriya Seshadri, Dr Aditi Agarwal and Dr Narvesh Kumar. It was attended by Renowned specialists and practitioners in the field of Gynecology and radiology. It was an insightful sessions, sharing invaluable expertise and best practices.
Commenting on the same Dr. Aditi Agarwal, said "Ultrasound is an integral part of patient delivery in terms of diagnosis and management, and almost all decisions are taken based on a scan/s. As an imaging modality ultrasound is real time, i.e.observations, interpretations, and thereby diagnosis are to be made during the time of scanning, and not by interpreting images after the test is done. Hence acquiring the right knowledge and skills requires in-depth practical training, alongside evidence-based theoretical aspects. The simulator- based training meets the above requirements, way beyond expectations."
Adding to it , Dr. Supriya Seshadri said ,"The two-day course will impart skills and knowledge to the trainee, who otherwise would have taken at least a year to acquire the same. And very importantly the requirement to have live cases i.e patients to train on, is overcome as the simulator device imparts the same kind of learning in the absence of patients."
