Women's cricketing skills on display in Phoenix United Women's Premier League
Season 3 of the Phoenix United Women's Premier League was organized by Phoenix United Lucknow as part of the Women's Day celebrations. A total of 90 cricket matches were played between 26 teams of 5 players each weekend from 8 March. In this, three categories were created, school, college and club. In which GCRG School was victorious in the school category, Jyoti Club was victorious in the club category and Navyug College was victorious in the college category.
The winning team was awarded a grand trophy and Rs 25,000 and the runner-up team was awarded a trophy and prize of Rs 15,000 by Phoenix United Alambagh and other participants were awarded certificates and gifts for their excellence. The Phoenix United Women's Premier League was a 4-week long indoor cricket tournament. Qualifier matches were played every Saturday and Sunday for three weeks. In the fourth weekend, semi-final matches were played between the top ranked teams of each group and the final was played on Sunday.
During PUWPL '24, all the teams displayed excellent performance and gave tough competition to each other.
